Girls Islamic Organisation (GIO) Maharashtra South Zone is working aggressively against the nudity and vulgarity. As a part of Anti Nudity Campaign a press conference held at Dhuliya which covered by various newspapers. GIO representatives explained the objectives of the campaign:
1. To eradicate nudity and vulgarity to develop value based society
2. To expose the elements and their tools who are promoting the nudity and vulgarity
3. To make aware and prevent the Girls and youth students about ill effect of nudity and vulgarity
Activities to promote the campaign:
1. Meetings: Individual and collective meetings with relatives, neighbors and friends
2. Lectures: are being held in Schools, Colleges and other educational institutes on various topics like HIJAB-an important tool of women safety, Ill effects of nudity, Nudity-causes and remedies etc.
3. Competitions: Quiz, Essay, Speech and Essay competitions in Educational institutes
4. Tea parties
5. Bulk SMS and Emails
6. Signature Campaign
7. Rally, Human Chain
8. Articles in Newspapers and Magazines
9. Distribution of Handbills
10. Posters
11. Board writings
12. Reports in Newspapers
13. City Conventions at various Cities of Maharashtra South like Aurangabad, Dhuliya, Mumbai, Thane etc.
